I came across this picture a few years ago. I believe it was taken sometime around 1938. The Reverend MJ Divine of the International Peace Mission Movement seated in his Duesenberg Bohman & Schwartz " Throne Car ". The organization still exists today. See link under picture. The order for the car was placed by someone named John The Baptist. In a 1948 letter to J.L. Elbert for his Duesenberg Mightiest American Motor Car Book. Father Divine denied ever owning the car saying he borrowed it from it's owner " out of respect to it's owner
" .
