The Citrus meet ended this morning. A group of us lingered until about 10:30AM then set off for Lake Mary, FL in caravan. Upon arrival, we stopped for lunch, and checked out the AA CA Founders Tour parking lot . (It is mainly 50?s & 60?s cars, but the range is from ?32 to ?86. There are around 60 cars.) Mike and I checked in to the Marriot for the week tour. The opening banquet was tonight. Tomorrow, we tour a car collection and the Central Florida Zoo.

We will be touring with the AACA all this week. It is a hub tour based in Lake Mary, Florida. Today we visited Big Tree Park, where we saw the largest tree in Florida. We had lunch at ?Route 46? restaurant, then visited the Darrel Davis Car collection and another private collection. From there continued to the Central Florida Zoo and back to our hotel. I will not be posting pictures of the founder?s tour on this site, since it is not an ACD club activitiy.

Here is an update of the expenses since 4/14/11
4/14/11 Misc $70., Food $38.45
4/15/11 Misc $52.41, Food $71.30, gas 12.87 gallons for $50.18
4/16/11 Hotel $258.76, food $23.72
4/17/11 Misc $21.17, food $28.06, gas 6.09 gallons for $23.56
4/18/11 food $6.41
4/19/11 food $28.67, gas 1285 gallons for $50.11

This does not include the meals that were included with our registration for the AACA meet. The rate for the room at the Marriot for the AACA meet is $91. per day. We rode with Barbara and Vinnie for the days before the Citrus meet. I do not know the mileage, but will get that from Mike and post it later.

Today we traveled to Flagler beach and visited the Chris Koch "Auto-stalgia" collection. Our tour today was 169 miles and was the longest driving day for this tour. We had a pleasant drive along the coast and saw some beautiful scenery. It was very warm today, and rained for a few minutes after we returned from our tour.
