I know you guys don't drink, but it is a really neat tour and you can't be far. Check out Maker's Mark Bourbon Distillery or Buffalo Trace or Woodford Reserve. These are great scenic drives and interesting history! It looks great! Keep the pictures coming and be safe!

Hi,

I am SO JEALOUS of anyone having a RUNNING ACD car. I better get back to work on the Old Lady.

Have a safe and fun trip.

We left Kentucky about 8:30 this morning. It was a little nippy for sweatshirts, but it warmed up quickly. We drove through the Cumberland Mountains, where there were lots of curves and not much shoulder. The trees were just budding leaves when we left, but as we progressed toward Chattanooga, it got greener and greener. The dogwoods and Magnolia trees were in bloom, and as we neared Georgia, the azaleas were flowering and most of the trees are green.

We set the Garmin to avoid traffic and highways, so we were in for some very picturesque scenery; however there were not places to pull off and take photos. We stopped for lunch at a diner in a small town, and had a pleasant conversation with the cook. Afterwards there was a ?Cord Guy? waiting by our car to show us pictures of ?his?.

This is one of the unique mailboxes we drove past today. We are staying in Hampton Inn, Newnan, GA. The hotel cost was $89.79. Food today totaled $36.30, and we spent $90.41 on 25.36 gallons of gas. We drove 304 miles.

Hi Kellie, We took a tour of Maker's Mark a couple of years ago, it was well worth the visit. We love seeing how things are made and their brewery is one of the nicest to visit. Wish you could tour with us! Now that I have figured out how to post pictures and I won't have to have Bill post for me, I feel freer to post lots of pics.
