There are a few accessory things that are currently made for a Cord - americanarrowcorp.com/ Don makes beautiful single and double Pilot Ray driving lights (he use to make a 7" light and I thought they were a little better scale than the 8" lights - I had a 7" made for the 1930 Franklin and it had 12" headliamps, have had several sets on 1931 Cadillacs and they match the headlamps, and have bought/installed about 8 sets over years for friends) and Don makes a radiator cap with Lalique ornament too.

There is a stone guard listed in the accessory book designed like the one you like, but in wire weave not basket weave. The consensus is closed cars had black frames and open cars could have colored frames. That has been proved wrong at least once. I don't know what the new judging rules will say though.

Mike I sent you a PM

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

I do like the black frame. What about the front end, cv joints, axle, etc?
Mike thanks for your input.

This is an easy starting point for some original phots : www.cordhaven.com/acd/brockman/cord%20L-29/default.html

Sidenote: On your L-29, leave your green frame "green" - I know difficult to work on and ..., but take a part to a good automotive paint store and have them match the green - then get a good fine artist paint brush and .... I have a sign painter friend and last "painted frame" had him mix me a can of "one shot sign painters enamel" to match - should cost about $100.00 or so. for a pint or may be lucky and get two pints for that.
