Phaeton Convertible Sedan reference

Let me say first my hunch is that everyone knows about the L-29 I'm about to question in Kennesaw, GA, which was advertised in Hemmings in the last year or so, having come from an estate. If I thought I was giving away a secret location of an unknown car, I'd just take some cash and put a deposit on it first!
I'm interested in the car but presume that over all these months a few of you have seen the car and apparently turned it down. Since I'm 4 states away, perhaps you can save me the trip. Was it simply overpriced? Improperly kept? Too difficult to deal with the sellers? Anyone actually go to see the car?
There are pics on the web and I have numerous saved into my computer.
