I wish I'd said that.

Thanks, Josh -- you are foing a really great job with all aspects of the Newsletter. The new art deco cover, etc., is certainly fitting for the era, but after 40-odd years of the former style, I still have pangs of nostalgia for the familianr -- I'll get over it.

Reprints of Tech articles and Feature articles will begin in issue #7. As was intended from the beginning, all reprinted tech articles will be reviewed by the appropriate scholars before publication.

Any tech material to be reprinted should be run past the tech advisors, first. There was (and still is) a lot of mis-information going around.

I shudder when I read some of the early tech articles -- they are so far from reality and seem to support some owner's "it was always like this" pronouncement, even though the car was 50 years old when he purchased it after its 3rd backyard restoration.

We have the benefit of original data, drawings, articles, shop letters, etc. to put things right.

But, with the proper re-writing and review by those who (are supposed to) know, the body of knowledge can only get better.

I think that is a great idea, for there are many fairly new club members, that do not have many, if any of the old editions with the technical information. I have been in the club now for eight years, WOW! it seems like I just joined yesterday. It does take many issues to put out a small amount of information.

Should older tech material be reprinted? was created by Josh Malks
There is a poll on the "Newsletter" forum regarding reprinting technical material that appeared many years ago in the ACD Newsletter.

Please respond; your input is valuable.

Thanks.
