I can answer my own Question Know. If the bellows lose ether they keep the shutters closed. The expanding ether opens the shutters. Mine opened fine they just didn't close all the way. I got it taken care of.

It's been a while and I can't remember. If the bellows leak out the ether do the shutters stay open or closed? Mine haven't closed since a tour in Savannah in March.
