The L-29 Cord operates on a bellows system. The bellows is filled with ether and moves with the heat of the radiator. A rod is attached to the bellows and activates the shutters. I know of no parts breakdown pictures available

Radiator shutter system was created by 1930 Jordan
I am looking for some info on how the shutters on the radiators would work when the car's system (radiator) would warm up and cool down. Also is there any kind of drawings available on all the parts needed to make this system work. I have a x-brand car and have the Winter front system on my car; and I think that I am missing some rod or arm of some kind. I have contacted my club but could not get any help with this system or a list of parts. ANY HELP WOULD BE MOST HELP-FULL RIGHT NOW. I am working on the shutters right now- they would not close, for there was lots of rust billed up, and gunk in the top half of the shutter workings. Thanks for any help with this ??????? <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->
