The head of the screw and the washer are in the interior side. The nut and lock washer are on the engine side.

Good question. I suspect the washer is on the inside but have never looked closely at any restored or original pad

Is the washer and nut on the firewall side or on the interior pad side.

Gary: I believe there are 16 but I’ll double check. Number 8 round head fine thread 3/4” long with nut and special thin 1” diameter flat washer.
All parts cad plated.

How many fasteners does the firewall pad take? What diameter is the head of the fastener?
