Wheel Cylinder Adapter was created by wynlaidig
Maybe I am blind, but for some reason I am having a hard time locating a supplier for the brass wheel cylinder adapters used to connect the rear brake lines. The wheel cylinders are tapped with 7/16-20 threads, and the 1/4" inverted flare nuts on the brake line have 7/16-24 threads. The brass adapters that I originally had on the wheel cylinders (shown below) need to be replaced. I can find adapters from 1/4" inverted flare 7/16-24 to male 3/8-24 or to male 1/4" NTP but for some reason I don't find anything to male 7/16-20.

Wyn attached is a picture of my rear axle assembly ready for installation.
Zooming in you can see the brake lines and fittings.
Also note the two gussets welded at the ends of the tubular axle. These were missing from the early production cars but were added to all CORDS after Fances Langford's Cord was found to have the axle flange cracked and on the verg of having the wheel, brakes and stub axle break away.
This is covered in detail on page 28 of the Engineering Changes and specifically mentions Miss Langford's Cord.
While on this thread when checking out one of the very rare RHD Cords originally sold in Australia I was surprise to see the car had not been fitted with the strengthening gussets. Attached are a couple of pictures of that car. I guess being on the other side of the world it slipped through the "cracks'.
Considering the state of roads in Australia back then it is a wonder both wheels had not come off.
I have no idea why the RHD Cord has lowering blocks, the springs may have been modified.

I will check the gusset sizes and get back to you. They are 1/4" plate

That fitting looks like a banjo fitting. Is that correct.
