Phaeton Window Removal

I thought I'd posted this before but I can't find it; sorry if this is a repeat. I'm trying to remove my Phaeton's door windows. I can't see how to get the lift mechanism to position the wheels by the gaps in the bracket to lift the window out. Do I somehow undo the stops so I can lower the window more or do I disassemble the stuff near the upper part of the door to allow the lift mechanism top to be raised bringing the wheels closer together? Thanks.
