When I found the picture you show it was unfortunately about a week after Josh Malks signed off on the printing of his book and unfortunately it was too late to stop the printing press.

This remarkable picture was taken at the 1935 Los Angeles car show.
Unfortunately there is not much of the cars shown to pick out details.
