No problem .............. glad to be of help.
Keep in mind that this car may have ended up stripped for parts to keep others on the road. A rotten thing to do after stealing the car in the first place.
Things are a bit quite at present as everybody will be in Auburn, Indiana for the big Reunion. I'm in Australia and sort of wish I was in Auburn again.
Again good luck with your search.

Ron Irwin is the official ACD Club 810 812 Cord Historian.
Ron lives in California and can be contacted by phone on 562 860 1032
Jack Richards who lives in Missouri also has a copy of the historical list of Cords and can be contacted by email [email protected]
Years ago I had read about a Brough Superior motor cycle that had been stolen in the UK eventually it turned up in America. It was not handed back to the correct owner but compensation was paid. As Gary suggested it would be better not to post "numbers" on this site, just contact the people above. Good luck with your endeavour.

I believe Terry is correct..But you bet this could really get ugly in the courts. I suggest you do as Terry suggested but... Please DO NOT post the car engine or serial numbers on this forum.Who knows what, who or how many owners this car might have had since it went missing.Numbers are important. Very sorry for the passing of your father and the loss of the car.

So long as you have the title with the serial number and engine number listed this Cord if it still exists should belong to you. I suggest you contact Ron Irwin or Jack Richards as they have lists recording the surviving Cords.
Good luck with your hunt.

Title for Cord 812 1937 was created by Autumn
I found a title for a Cord 1937 4 DR 812 in my deceased Father's paperwork. I remember the car as a child, he had a used car lot and kept the car in a barn behind the lot. I also remebert hte night we got a call from the police saying the lot and barn had been broken into, the Cord was stolen. I guess he hung on to the title always hoping. Is this title of any value? Can anyone advise me me? Thanks.
