Here are the promised pictures of the seal beam headlight conversion on my 37 Cord. I have nothing else to compare to.

My Cord has 6 volt sealed beam headlights that were fitted in the "dim" past.
I am in the process of the restoring the car completely and have not fitted the front fenders yet however I will dig out the headlight assemblies and photograph how it was done. This may take a day or two.

I don't have answers for you because my car came with sealed beam headlights but... I can take pics and share with you what mine look like.At this time my headlights are all apart.I can show you a relay on my firewall for the headlights.Mine is still 6 volts.

Really? No one has done this? I really could use some tips and tricks or hints on how to proceed.
Thanks,
Larry

I have heard a few others have converted their headlights to modern sealed beam lights, can some of you share how you did it? My friend Stan's Cord has been converted to 12 volt sealed beam but it's a very tight squeeze to get them to clear when the lights fold down and adjustment/aiming them is problematic. I'd like to redo them (I've already run new wiring to eliminate the previous HUGE battery drain when they're used) and would love suggestions on ways to proceed. Here's a picture of the right headlight, the left is similar but done even more poorly.
