This is my end result of refurbishing the dimmer switch. It works much better than original action. Can't wait to install it and use it some day.. Sadly that's some time off...

Same as 34-36 Auburn.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

These are the promised pictures of the dimmer switch. Sadly I was not able to remove the plunger to get the piston and spring removed. The plunger will press down on the rotation mechanics. That in turn causes the power to route to bright or normal driving head lights. Its a very interesting mechanical process. I will open that part later. I'm now running the rusted pieces thru my Arm n Hammer laundry powder bath with 6 volts from my battery charger to remove the rust.Surprisingly its really cleaning the parts very well.

I'm ready to restore my floor mounted headlight hi- low beam dimmer switch. Before I open it up can anybody tell me what the manufacture was? Mine says Delco Remy on the black phenolic resin contact piece. I can post pics later.
