Thanks for the simpler wiring diagram Terry. That works for me.

Thanks Curt. I might be interested in a parts trade later on. No matter what. You were the first to ask so you get the first right to purchase.

The switch on my 810 Cord has only 5 connections and agrees with the standard wiring diagram that I have modified so that it easier to read and understand. Copies of the diagram are attached.

Thanks Curt for the quick response. The switch on the left came off my car but I purchased the one on the right some years ago. The one on the left was opened up about 42 years ago to see why power was not leaving it. turns out contacts were slightly in need of cleaning. 0000 steel wool made everything proper once again. I greased it and re assembled it.

That is a good question. I can tell you that the switch on the left is 8 cyl. Auburn and the one on the right is a six. A well known Cord guy sold me an eight cyl switch. So I would conclude the switch on the right is 810-812

Light Switch Question was created by 1748 S
Can someone tell me which light switch is original? My car came with the switch on the left. It has fewer electrical connections than the one on the right. Thanks.
