I did a color match on the original paint in the area under the name plate. Here is the color code in case you are interested.

I heard someone in the club has reproduced the heater arms. Does anyone know who that is? My heater has a broken arm that I need to replace.

Also, Lee Foldenauer has some Aerotherm fan and cores -- basically everything but the box. Apparently Aerotherm made a different heater for another car with everything the same but the box. So if you can find a correct box somewhere, you can possibly get the rest from Lee.
Here is the heater I just finished restoring:

If memory serves me right, Henry Portz was able to reproduce the heater box. I'm not sure what other cars used the internals of the Aerotherm heater but... Tim Gilmartin once sent me an ebay listing for the internals. One leg of my mounting purchases has been broken off since day one when Dad "found" our car for $300.00... Way back in 1961. I posted the historic papers on this a few years ago in this forum. My heater restoration is also in this 810 812 forum as is any other part I have restored.

Aerotherm was the brand of heater used in our Cord cars. Best of the information no Cord came from the factory with a heater installed. They were dealer installed.. So I have been told this but.. Others have stated their car came from the factory WITH a heater. So others can maybe finally post the truth. No finding the heater is difficult. I have searched ebay for years but never have seen any listed. A member did send me a pm with attachment showing the heater but no outer cover. I do not know if these heaters were used on any other cars. At one time a club member was making reproductions of these. There was a standard and a deluxe model of these heaters offered for our cars too.

Does anyone have a heater for a 1936 Cord Westchester sedan? Any advice as to which model heater is appropriate? Thanks. [email protected] New member of club.
