I couldn't edit my earlier post but also found some more economical options;

I don' t know what Josh had, but there seems to be a variety of options if your car is 12 volt. I have no knowledge of any of these, but here might be a good place to start;

Terry, Josh's "AC" was basicly a swamp cooler, to which you had to add water from time to time. He told me where he found it but, being older, I forget.

Quite a few years ago Pat Leahy used one of these tow dollys but unfortunately had a tyre blow out on the rear wheel of the Cord he was towing with disastrous results. The Cord swung sideways and was hit by a truck and semi trailer.
He was just very unlucky.

As an aside this also works quite well with earlier Auburns with free-wheeling, engaging free-wheel disconnects trans/engine with same results.

For a number of years I purchased a high Quality tow dolly (with good surge braking system) and pulled behind a pickup truck, it was much easier than trailering . Since car is front wheel drive all you have to do is make sure it is well tied down and as long as you only go forward very easy for even a novice to manage.

Josh Malks had a semi air conditioning system that was basically a box that supplied cool air within his famous Westchester. The box sat on the rear seat unfortunately I don't know how it worked but it made driving across the country from California to Auburn and back home again much more comfortable.
Surely others will have more information on this ??????????????
Go for it!

Hi y'all ! How do you get your car to Auburn? I drove 650 miles each way from Raleigh to Reunion last year and while it was quite an adventure I don't want to drive that distance, in summer temps, over two days again.
