Talked to Wolf today. They don't know specs for 810-12 Cords.
They could repair yours if you have one.

I have a guess right now but was wondering if anyone knew the correct numbers. I don't have any resistors big enough to check through the meter. I guess I'll figure it out and post the results..

Jim with that many possibilities how can you get the correct sender? Is there any way you can "feed" the dash gauge to figure out what ohms you need? I'm only guessing here because I have not gotten this deep in the sending units with ohms....

Mike,
Can you give me some info on Wolf? I have not heard or used them. The 0-120 ohm won't work in the Cord - it would read backwards. There were several different standards that were used back them including 0-30, 30-0 , 0-120, 30-140, 140-30 and I'm sure there are others.

You might try Wolf Jim. Just got one for my Marmon from him. It was 0 to 120 Ohms. It sounds like that was a common value for 6V gauges. He needs to now tank depth.

Sorry I don't know this but Jim I do have some posts showing the sender all taken apart.I was cleaning mine of years of dirt sitting forever. Surprisingly the engine oil level sender is very similar internally too. I also have that one open on my shop bench.

Does anyone know what the resistance is for the fuel level sender? I need to order a new one and I don't remember the Spec's. The last time I ordered one - about 25 years ago I got the wrong one and my gauge always read backwards. But I can't find the spec's on what I ordered back then.
Thanks.
