Thank you for responding. My guess was the original color was black because I have seen several black tags and only one red. I actually prefer the red because it stands out better.

GCO 4804 A Generator was created by 1748 S

Can someone tell me what is correct pretaining to the color of the Autolite id tag on the GCO 4804 A generator? I have seen both red and black tags... Or does it matter in judging only. Thanks for any information.
