GM used them in 1936 , but that probably isn't going to be much help.
I bought a nos one 15-20 years ago thru a bearing specialty house in Alexandria, Va. Even then it cost $75 plus UPS and they had to order it elsewhere for me.
I have a friend who solved the problem by making a brass bushing for a replacement.

From the Directory, Don's cell phone is 425 210 5147 and his email address is [email protected]
His rear hubs were perfect, I bought a set.

Don Wohlwend in Washington State was manufacturing new hubs, wheels and brake drums. I believe he sold the business to somebody in Canada. Give Don a call or try ACD Canadian contacts

It was also available from OLCAR Bearing Co, Southern Pines, NC, a few years ago; might still be. It is new Departure 900916.

With brakes, two cylinders are better than one.

This bearing shows up on Ebay occasionally. Also check the Cadillac and Buick parts sites. Expect to pay $ 80 - $100 for it.

can anyone tell me where to source the steering arm bearing #900916 or just 916? It fits other car models and is being requested by my mechanic, who is currently trying to get my car running. also, are there brake drums out there being made or what alternative is there? thank you [email protected]
