Thanks to all for gas pedal mounting info. Sometimes knowing how to do something leads to other problems. I wanted to remove the front carpet and padding because sometime in it's life it was left outside, and she must have gotten and stayed real wet. The carpet just shredded as I cleaned it. Oh well it's time to spend more money and search for new carpet.

Ya, that is the same as 34-36 Auburn. And there is one at the top for the throttle rod. I have a couple of new ones if some one needs one.

I believe they are the same but not an expert. As alreay posted, these just ride on 2 ball studs.the steel ball stud is pressed up into the back of the rubber peddle. Once you get it off use some lube to ease the installation.

Are Auburn & Cord Gas Pedals the same?

The gas pedal is mounted on two ball studs. Just pry it up gently- should remove it.

Hi, I am trying to remove the front carpet from my car. The gas pedal seems to be attached through the carpet but I can't see any method of attachment. Any
Any ideas?
