I took some pictures today but I am beginning to think my dash board is too dark in colour. I also photographed the window garnish mouldings in the daylight and they are the same colour.
I have also included a picture from Google Images. The colour is dark blue. Hope this helps.

Saw the picture of the Distributor - I have been buying spark plug wire sets for eons now from brillman.com . I have found a number of NOS Distributor caps that have zero continuity as to the points that stab the wires whether it mild oxidation (that I cannot even see) or some sort of protective coating - I have been sanding the spikes and also using my voltmeter to test continuity. And, hands-off the carbon center contact pick-up for rotor - they are delicate.

Hi Rudy, I can't do anything for a few days as I am hosting an ACD Club Mini Meet over this weekend.
I will get back to you with some detailed pictures early next week.
You have worked miracles with that Cord of yours.

Hello again, Mr. Perrin. I must say that I agree with my very knowledgible Australian friend Terry Cockerell that the blue color of the dashboard of your car which you posted a few days ago appears to be a bit too light a shade of blue. If hope Terry can supply you with a picture of his dash and/or the garnish moldings which are , of course , done in the same blue. My recently sold 1937 Cord Beverly S#32410S ( for sale again and currently shown on Hemmings' website ) was done in original Geneva Blue and the dash was about the same shade blue as the exterior. See that add to get some idea of the blue shade on that car.
I am composing a Private Message to you but this will take a few minutes to complete. More Later, Jack Richards

I too am restoring an original cadet grey Cord. The colour of your dash board looks lighter than it should be. The correct colour is a dark blue. I noticed that your clutch and brake levers are silver they should be black.
The grey colour looks like mine and another good example of cadet grey.
The work you have done to bring that rusted wreck back to life is nothing but a miracle. I wish I had your body work skills.Keep up the great work you can see the end in site now.

Thanks for sharing these great pictures of your terrific restoration. You have done some wonderful work. I remember what you started with.. An unseen rust free car. Sadly thats not what you found when this car arrived.But you are a very capable metal worker. I wish I was half as good at metal work as you are. My Beverly is also Kedit Grey with dark blue interior paint and interior coach work. Thanks for sharing.

Greetings to the talented Frenchman Perrin Youenn who is creating "Rolling Sculpture " from a rusted derelict. I have been following this magnificent restoration project and last commented on 5 July 2015. This thread has amassed 20 pages but the last post would appear to have been that by Ruby RS (Perrin himself) on 4 July 2017. What has transpired since?? Thank you, Jonathan Richards.

Egge timing chains are the Ramsey manufacture chains.. Yours looks like its a little small on the gears. Is this chain 1 1/2 inches wide or is it 1 1/4 inches wide. Is your engine the supercharged engine.

Thats a lot of machine work you are doing to the engine. Glad you are "modernizing the bearings. I find it odd that our cam shaft has 5 bearings and they are all different sizes but the crankshaft has only three main bearings. Seems to me the crank needs more than three bearings. I'm impressed with your work.

The headlight doors look great. I had a hard time adjusting them so they opened and closed without interfering with the wing.

Nice work on that wing.
Those wheel opening patches are tricky to get right.
I find that rounding off the corners on patch panels minimizes warpage.
Keep the pictures coming

I need some help.

Now I have to remake the exhausts holes in the wings, a club member would have a drawing to make the bezel <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->
And what is the diameter of the exhaust cover <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->

Thanks Tom <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Yes the car was fitted with a supercharged fence by previous owner, I do not have the standard fence so I'll leave it with the supercharged fence and exterior pipes but without supercharger on my engine.

I see that someone was in the process of putting S/C pipes on your Cord before you bought it. It doesn't look like it had been completed? Were you going to? The engine block is an FB which isn't set up for a supercharger. There was an article in the ACD Newsletter years ago as to how to modify a FB block to take a supercharger. Given the value of these cars lately don't think I would supercharge it if it didn't come from the factory that way.
You are doing a great job on the restoration. I look forward to seeing what you have accomplished each time I get on my computer.
