Ed,

3/8". You can use a standard nylon clothes line rope and wrap with vinyl cloth material that matches the color of you car. Just about any trim shop can make it up for you. I prefer this method versus painting the black welting. Obviously paint does not bend to well and tends to split on the welting when making the tight radius turns around the backside of the fenders. The choice of methods is yours. Have a good day.

can anyone tell me what is the correct diameter of the welting bead on the rear fender. thank you ed.
