Bill,
The reason why the bracket has several holes in it is do to the closed cars radiator support rods are about 1/2" solid steel rods and the open cars 'bird cage' radiator supports rods are manufactured out of what I would call 1/2" heavy wall pipe (similar to water or natural gas pipe) which has a greater diameter. Hence, make one bracket with several holes to fit either open or closed cars.
CORDially,
Al Hatch

Thanks Stan:
Not sure I undrestand your "which is why they have so many holes" comment.
The brackets that I have have holes for 2 U-bolts each. Does this mean they are correct for closed cars ?
Also, are the brackets and attachment nuts cad plated and the horns black (there also seems to be a nut near the bulb of the horn which hasn't been painted black on mine - it is cad plated, too. Is this correct ?).
Thanks for your help.

Yes, they are the same but use large u-bolts on convertibles which is why they have so many holes.

Hello:
Are both open and closed car horn brackets the same ? If not, how do you tell the difference ?
