Oddly enough, I was just wondering how to add a C/B radio eventually - but in a non-permanent arrangement.
A cell phone is not the same thing at all, and while it might be good insurance a cell couldn't do what I'd need it to.
If the MOTOROLA is the closest match you can find, silkscreening it would qualify as detail work in my opinion - though it would have to be listed as a modification at a contest. In the meantime, don't abandon hope! There may still be one out there somewhere.

I just purchased a radio on ebay. It is a Motorola, not a Crosley or a Philco. However, the radio appears to be the exact same form factor.
Does anyone see a problem with silkscreening the correct Crosley face on the radio?
