I note that you are from Toronto. You might wish to check out a Canadian tire stock product " CV joint grease" it comes in the standard tube for use in grease guns and Doug Conrad swears by it. I have been using it in my cord since the transmission was rebuilt ~5000 miles ago and it works great!

Any moly or lithium based lube will work. Don't use anything that's fibered.

Any all purpose Lithium based grease will work. No more than 14 oz. (one tube) per u-joint.

What type of grease do you use for the inner / outer universal joints ?

Is a good quality wheel bearing grease OK - or is there something special that 810 / 812 owners recommend ?
