Replied by hportz on topic Crosley & Philco Radios used on the Cord
Tom, Crosley also made radios for Delco with the Delco name on them (inside) that looked exactly on the outside like the ones made for Cord (convertible at least) ; however the tube layout was different .
There are published Crosley schematics showing models A-255 & A-455.
View my album on Photobucket for photos of the Cord radios and scanned pages from the original parts list: [url:dr9qqvjy]http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h127/hportz/[/url:dr9qqvjy]

My Custom Bev #1 is a late car and has a Philco radio. These externally look very similar to the Crosley that was used on most cars. It would seem that late cars have many changes, probably due to Auburn factory unable to pay vendors bills, so they switched sources.
