You might consider putting some blocks below the front wheels also so all the weight of the suspension arms does not rest on the rubber bumpers, below the axle shaft. It may be a bit early to do this as there is not any snow in Toronto yet and Cords don't tend to overheat in this weather.

When putting an 812 away for the winter here in Canada is it OK to put it up on jack-stands to lift tires off garage floor and release pressure on front leaf-spring ?
Where is the best point to put the front jack-stands - under the frame just beside /behind shocks ?
