All of the gauges are removed/replaced from the back. Take out the seat cushions to provide a bit more room. Lay down a comforter for --- well, comfort. Lie crosswise on the floor. Some gauges will require your head to be pointing to the left, some to the right. Use a fluorescent light to avoid burns. Be patient, and ask the womenfolk and others with delicate ears to leave the garage.

I am thinking about changing out all of my gauges myself.

What is involved?

Can I just come in from behind the dash, unscrew them and replace them? Or is there a secondary panel that I have to remove first?

I also have new dashpanel. That obviously goes on from the front.
