I too would like to find a solid 810 or 812 driver. A closed car is what I am looking for. Don't want a show car, just one that I can drive around town from time to time and do some short tours with. If paint and interior needs some work, I deal with that. With two kids in college, a show car is out of my range right now.

Looking for a Cord was created by cordite
I recently joined the ACD club and I am looking for a restored Cord sedan. I have wanted a Cord since the late 50's when I was a passenger in an 812S/C and went over 100MPH for the first time in my life. I am now that the kid's are out of school, I am ready to acquire a Cord (although not an 812 S/C) and I would appreciate any information on where to look and how to buy. I am a reasonable mechanic, but I don't want a car that keeps me on the creeper more than in the drivers seat.

I would also like to know of anyone in the business of advising potential buyers and inspecting vehicles prior to purchase.

Thanks

Cordite
