I don't have a picture of the correct fastener but Pete Kelly has. He posted up the pictures on this forum a few years ago. I tried to find his post but failed. You might ask him to repost the pic. I recall he had a set of NOS correct Fog King lights in a box too.

Hello Gary,
You mentioned those lights do not have the correct fasteners for the retaining rings. Can you please provide the photos of the correct fasteners and the white painted ring on the lens?
Thank you for your help

Found them, thanks.
Quite a good looking set .

Yes Terry that are a nice looking set. They are a long way from being absolutely correct. The lens are missing the white painted ring. The mounting brackets are supposed to be black paint and not chromed. Like most, I do like the chrome over the black paint. The lens retainer ring fasteners are not correct. I noticed the name tag appears to be larger than the tags I have. I'm wondering if maybe someone has made a couple of different name tags over the years. The tags I have will not cover all the original stamped in the body name tags. As for the price.... That ranges up there with the original tool kits or the bumper jacks or the Champion 2 ring H10 spark plugs. The last new set of 8 sold for the asking price of $2600.00 on Ebay a couple of years ago.....

Well, I tried to use the add link function but it did not seem to work.

Terry, search on “1936 1937 Cord” and the listing should come up in the top 10 items. The title of the listing is “Cord Original 1930 ’s Vintage Accessory Driving Fog Light Pair”

Ebay Fog Lights was created by 1748 S
On Ebay now is a nice set of Fog King amber lens fog lights with brackets. The special CORD FOG LIGHT name plate appears larger than the type I have but looks very nice. Then lens match colors and the white painted line is one them. Hopefully I can cause the copy n paste to work. If not you can view these lights of the 1936 1937 Cord parts page.
