Gary I had remembered you had gone to see the old factory building last year, so I looked up the site and went along.
The sketch shows the layout of all of the original buildings.

Terry... The Duesenberg building is now a bus repair terminal. But it MUST be kept original in appearance. I saw it last year when I attended Auburn. The original wood building factory location was about 150 yards north of it. If it did not have a cement pad covering it I sure would like to use a metal detector there. One of our club members hasone of the brothers original tool chests.

It sure was a wonderful experience guys. It's on again next year, the weekend before Auburn. It's worth the effort to attend both meets. Inbetween we went to Indianapolis to see the Duesenberg building plus the famous Brick yard.
Never a dull moment.

During the Connersville Meet my good friends at the Connersville Museum let me drive the Museum's Cord up and down West 18th Street. It was a Major Bucket List item for me to Tick Off which they understood as my Cord had to stay home in Australia. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.
Both pictures were taken in roughly the same location.
The Cord ran like a charm with smooth gear changes.
