Terry's post is right on. I just had my brakes worked on and the cylinders kept leaking until I passed Terry's drawing on to my mechanic.

You should be able to buy the wheel cylinder rubbers separately. From memory the sizes are 1" and 1 1/4" diameter. The first set I bought here in Australia did not have a defined sharp edge but had a round moulding near the edge. These leaked and were not suitable. I was able to find rubbers with a well defined sharp edge as per the originals which worked properly and did not leak.
See the attached sketch.

Pat,
I checked with the local NAPA today trying to get rebuild kits for my 810. They had them listed, but they were out of stock and could not be ordered. Didn't ask about 812 kits .

NAPA should have kits available. The step bore cylinders were also used in late 30's Ford "juice" brakes.

Ah ! The bore sizes are cast on the cylinders, two sizes which I can't remember. I found generic seals form a classic spares place here in the UK , like super cheap. Worked perfect, just check your bores are good .Gave mine a light hone .
