Good question Terry. I purchased a replacement set of all the important springs from a former club member. I suspect I may have the original springs and will be watching the answers given.

Clutch and Brake Pedal Return Springs was created by Terry Cockerell
There seems to be a variety of spring set ups for the clutch and brake pedals.
I believe the original springs are fairly short and both are connected to the master cylinder support bracket.
Other variations use longer springs connected to the various anchor points.
Did the original short springs prove inadequate?
I would appreciate any comments and pictures.
