Thanks Curt, I ended up making eight clamps of varying size. The rest that I had bought fitted ok.

If they are the same size as Auburn I have some.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Terry, the original hose clamps are thicker in metal than reproductions, hard to find nice plated originals, "wonky" sizing on them via period hoses and modern day hoses, and ... - it is going to be (and usually is) a project that eats a lot of time and shipping money matched to aggravation.

It is amazing how each problem can grow. The hoses I bought were the real problem as they have a thinner wall thickness than the original hoses, consequently the normal clamps will not close up enough in some cases.
The Restoration Supply Catalogue did not cover all of my needs.
Solution .................... make special clamps to suit. The small "C" shaped strip in the attached pictures bridges the gap below where the screw and nut are fitted.

Quite an incredible range of products. I have also been looking for small diameter S/S flexible conduit for the Fog Lamps .......... they have that too.
Thanks, Terry.

Restoration Supply Company has them for $5 - $7.00 each. Page 15 of their current catalog (which you will need to download).
