Tom,
Rock Auto is buying the rubber parts from one of the rubber suppliers. I looked into this a while back and I can't remember if it was Steele or Metro.

I buy most of my newer car parts from rockauto.com. They have a huge selection at unbeatable prices for many makes and years. Just for fun I typed in 1937 812 Cord and was surprised to see parts listed. Mainly rubber goods, belts, convertible windshield frame gaskets etc at competitive prices. Worth checking out.
