FYI, I have had a few sets of instruments with John Wolf for over a year, and just last week he apologetically returned them to me because he couldn't get to them, given ongoing eyesight concerns.

Mr. Koller: You have received several helpful responses to your Post #42631 dated 3-16 above. Regarding services available from John Wolf & Company of Willoughby, OH a fellow ACD Club member in Montana has spoken by phone with Mr. Wolf in recent days. The eye surgery which Mr. Wolf underwent was successful and he is able to schedule work on instruments from your Cord, There may be some delay as they have a backlog of earlier orders. Good Luck, Jack Richards #1080 in Missouri.

Thanks Gary,
Your instruments look great. If you want to do another set, let me know.
I was going to do them myself and bought the paint and gaskets from Stan but ran into trouble when I found out that three of the large instruments had been restored in the past and did not have the etched glass as original and the silk
screened glass needed to be redone.
Stan no longer has the silk screened glass and will not be making any more.
I also need the temp gage recharged and would like all of the instruments cleaned and oiled.
I cleaned the bezels up and the are ok for a driver which my car is and the cases are not that bad either so hopefully I can get them done without spending an arm and a leg (Maybe just an arm)
Thanks again,
Steve

What exactly are you wanting done? If its restore the dial covers its really easy. If the numbers etched on the glass need restoring that too is easy. Stan sells everything you need to restore the gauges or I can guide you thru this simple method several members have taught me over the years. This is what my dash looks like after restoration. I think I have some before pics and will post them if they are in my computer.

INSTRUMENT RESTORATION was created by A.S. KOLLER
Hi Guys/Gals (must be politically correct)

I am about to send out my instruments for restoration .

I was going to use Jim Wolf whom I had used before but he advised he was having some eye sight problems and as a result was reluctant to take on any more work at this time.

He recommended using Instrument Specialties of R.I. and I was wondering if any of you might have used them and your comments.

Thanks
