Almost unbelievable ................... less than one dollar.
Back in the mid 1930s when a Westchester cost 1,150 pounds Aust, my father bought a few blocks of land for 5 pounds each in the bay side suburb of Carrum which is south of Melbourne. Not many people had any spare cash then let along 5 pounds for a 1/4 acre block of land.

I am not aware of that one. There are about 25 Cords in Australia with not many on the road. We don't have many "serious dedicated Cord owners" down here. Actually they are rarer than the cars.

Terry a light bulb just went on in my brain. Quite a few years ago I bought a Cord Phaeton from Bill Craig in Reno Nevada that had gone thru his garage fire. I ended up eventually selling it to a Australian gentleman than ran a restoration shop in colchester ct. He eventually returned to Australia and brought the Cord with him. For the live of me I can’t recall his name. I sold it with out any running gear. Wondering if it ever got put together.

Those were the days when money in small quantities was worth something.
