Some Chrysler and Plymouth generators fit the Cord mounting bracket.Sadly they are not correct.

Congratulations Bill, Gary identified mine as coming from a 1949 Studebaker.
At least it came from another car made in Indiana. I guess it will have to do for some time. It must have been in place for a very long time.
Don't tell anybody.

Thanx!!! Just what I needed to know. It's a GBR 4603-4 from 1937. Beats the heck out of being something off an old Plymouth!

Without seeing the id plate numbers its difficult to say one way or the other but.... This is what I know that came on any 36 or 37 Cord. This information came from a well respected Autolite part manual I have. This manual tells me what every car or industrial application engine up to 1954.

Dear generator mavens, This is the generator that came with my 36 Westchester when I purchased it eight years ago. When I had the engine bay sorted out my mechanic thought he'd do me a favor and install an alternator. I'm now considering re-installing the generator but need to know if this is correct. And yes, I do have the regulator which sits on top.
