Thanks. I joined the Club about a month ago. I have been a long-time fan and have visited the factory etc. I don't own a Cord yet, but I am continually looking.
and just trying to educate myself as much as possible.

I have no idea, Cords of all body styles were built with RHD.
Five sedans that were originally sold in Australia have survived.
I was going to convert mine to RHD but decided not to as the history of ownership was uncovered.
Driving a LHD convertible with the top down in Australia is no problem. With the top up it's a different ball game. I rely on mirrors fitted to the door handles.
When did you join the Club?

Do you know how many of them were 1937 convertibles?
Appreciate the reply.

Where are you located in Australia? I am located 100 km north of Sydney.
From discussions with long term member Barry Sly in the UK we believe about 100 RHD Cords could have been built. In the early stages of Cord production 100 cars were built by hand consequently parts seemed to be ordered in batches of 100.
I had a RHD bell housing which I was going to use to convert my Cord to RHD, eventually went to New Zealand.
Around 50 RHD Cords were sold in the UK, around 18 in South Africa and maybe 12 in Australia so that covers 80. The figure of 100 seems reasonable.

I am a new member from Australia. Can someone please provide a reference point for right-hand drive Cords. My basic information indicates there were just four RHD cars produced that were sent to England. Does anyone know their current locations. Would enjoy any information that an be provided. Thanks
