Thanks for your responses. Problem solved. Picked my car up from the paint and body shop yesterday. They had about a quart of my paint left over. So that and a couple of Pre Val spray bottles and I'm set to go. And there is almost nothing as beautiful as a freshly painted grill with buffed stainless.

My local paint company will do the same - last time I had them match from a rattle can I stopped in to discuss what I was doing and they gave me a piece of white card stock to spray the paint out on and instructions for how many coats and .. - I brought it back and they mixed it. I basically had to buy a quart of paint and then spay cans at about $33.00 each. I lucked out that the paint was not red as certain colors seem more pricey. I can also bring then a piece of something and they will match, but a wheel may be hard to get their analyzer on given all the contours.

many local automotive paint supply companies will custom mix paint in spray cans for you if, you can provide a sample. it is a bit pricey. i paid about 250 for five cans of a red i wanted. it was lacquer & worked matched ok on what i was doing.
so call around.

Hi! For a number of years I've been ordering rattle cans of Palm Beach Tan from an outfit in Wisconsin who has stopped custom mixing and filling spray cans. I don't have paint spraying setup setup nor will I have a use for one after this project. Any suggestions of vendors? I'm painting wheels so with proper prep the spray can has worked very well. Have any of you ever tried the Preval sprayer?
