Difference between Generators was created by the_helmut
Hello,
my 1928 Auburn 6-66AT use a Delco Remy 940E Generator with the Delco Remy 637W Distributor. Now the cover and holder for the distributor from the generator is broken. Actually, I bought a Delco Remy 940-E Generator, thinking the broken part is the same. But it isn't. The hole to put in the distributor measures 27mm, the disributor measures 28mm.It doesn't fit.
In which car the Delco Remy Generator 940-E was installed? Which kind of distributor need's this?
Does anybody has some parts for solving my problem?
