Curt, perhaps mail Curt Schulze a tracing and photo of the spring in question - I very fortunately have had really nice springs for all the cars, though they do break so I keep one extra of everything and not too long ago Craig Birkold had a spring break on the 851 Sedan and Curt was able to provide replacement. Interestingly enough in the friends shop dad and friend are working on my 852 they do a lot of corvette work and he was quick to identify that all the springs look Corvette and went digging for a minute and found one that looked pretty dead on. There use to be a time when you could match springs up at auto parts stores, but that would probably take a really old store and more probably an independent these days. My point is that there is so somewhat a chance that the parts on a 34-36 may be the same, plus Curt does have some experience with 1931 and 1932.

Curt,

Here are the pages related to brakes from the 8-105 owners manual. I hope they are helpful to you.

Randy, could you explain to me "How" the 'Kick shackle' is supposed to work (in theory)?

Didn't the 33's have one front wheel cylinder have a larger than the other ?
Not so with 34-36.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Does anyone have diagrams or pictures of a 1933 8-105 Salon Hydraulic Brakes? Are they the seam as 34/35 or are these one year only?

Who has the springs and parts, wheel cylinders seem fine.

It seems I have may have a spring that broke or came loose as one wheel is dragging and making a little noise.

I have a 8-98 manual but not a 8-105.

Thanks,
Curt
