@kimmelfab you have a rare car. I was thinking about buying that car a few months before it got to auction. I was however busy with another 31 couple that i am recreating all the body wood. Good luck with the car. There is really good support with parts from other members. I am currently having connecting rods CNC machined for my car and a couple extra sets made.
Welcome, Kirk

Thanks for the link john. I am currently going through all the necessary things on the car. The tank is out and being refinished inside, I need to pull the radiator and oil pan in the next week or so. I plan to leave the car stock but as you suggested, I will be going through it to make sure everything is in order.

Sidenote: Hopefully someone has been there before, but I have seen plenty of "revived" stuff where people have left all kinds of crude-ed up sludged oil in the oil pans (old oils had their faults) and it does not take too long to do damage - please make sure that is not the case. It is worth a double check at least and if needed oil pan gaskets are available via www.olsonsgaskets.com .

If you are not a member of the Club I invite you to join us. It's a great club. Love to see your car at the Auburn Warm UP Meet next year. It will be the beginning of June. Great source for advice and parts.

Yes, I looked over the car very well. 3 days of investigating it before I finally made the offer. Original 18k miles and its absolutely a beautiful example of a survivor. I couldn't pass it up. I'm in Fort Wayne, which us close to Auburn Indiana. I've always been fascinated with these cars!

Does anyone know the selling price ?

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
