Love my optima's - have bought a good 20 plus over past 10 years and plenty more in prior 10 years. You can lift them with one hand. Great service, excepting one "melted down" in a 1941 cadillac (but it was 8 yeas old at time) and also found not good for museum cars that get started all time to move car, but never really driven (average Joe does not charge them and do not know how to charge them when run down).

Optima or two in parallel. Or biggest lead acid you can fit. Requires checking the water regularly.
Either way a tender or charge
Schedule is appropriate

Hello again.

Thank you to all who have helped me dig into my problem.

I believe I need a new battery.

Recommendations?
I'm more interested in performance than originality. I want to get there AND back!

Thanks again!
