Best idea is take your bearing to a large well known bearing supply. Let them tell you what they have. Many older bearings are no longer available but new designs are. Example is a double shielded bearing can be modified to math a non shielded bearing. You need to know is the bearing a thrust or radial or a mix of these two. In our 36 or 37 Cord front suspension we no longer can source the swing arm inner or outer bearings.Stan figured out like Henry Portz did that we can use 4 single bearings and make a spacer to fit between them. The New Departure 916 center steering arm bearing is still around but no longer make.So some just fab up a brass bushing.I have two of the 916 bearings as spares. I know mine will never wear out too so why am I "hoarding them???

Anybody have a source for a Cluster Gear Roller Bearing for my Transmission rebuild? .875 ID x 1.375 OD x 1.562 long. Also does anybody know how much End play should be in the transmission when setting up the main drive bearings? Also the counter shaft End play. I do not want to set it too tight. Thank you
