Any way about it, I would have the Whipcord lined fabric.

Thanks for all of the input. It sounds like the whip cord on the inside is probably correct for the Auburn as well as Cord and Dusenberg

I have never seen an original top or parts of one, but I have seen an original top boot and hate to say it has been so long ago I do not recall, but I want to say the exterior was the Greenish-Bluish Stayfast with the whipcord pattern inside. Periodically at ACD Festival you see a Cord 810 or 812 done in the correct material - hardly ever an Auburn though.
