I know nothing about re-numbered cars. My records show 33, 12-161 cabriolets in 1933

Mainly curious how many 12-161a Cabriolet were produced for 1933. It seems that I also read cars were renumbered from 1932.?

I see very well detailed Cord numbers and production numbers. Is there such an animal for the Auburns? Looking for year, engine and bodystyle.
