I use the original style small round head nail available at any decent hardware store. Glue them on with 3M weather strip adhesive for extra insurance.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Restoration Supply has threaded rivets. Are you sure these fasteners were not drive screws orig. McMaster Carr has those.

I am installing new emblems on our 1931 Auburn knock off spinners and I am looking for a Source for 3 Fasteners per knock off? I think originally they were originally a brass rivet but I have also heard someone is making a screw and nut with a rivet looking head for this.
